Dementia Care

Quality Care has a long track record in excellent dementia care. We recognise that it can be hard for the families whose loved one has been diagnosed with dementia, this is why our teams go the extra mile to ensure they build a strong personal relationship with each and every one of our service users and their families. All of our staff at Quality Care have had to undergo specialist dementia training and we understand that our service users feel much better in familiar surroundings, this is why we believe in allowing them to stay in their own homes for as long as possible.

A dementia diagnosis can be upsetting for all concerned. Our aim is to take the pressure and anxiety away from the service user and their family. We focus on the enabling aspect of support, this means that our carers are dedicated to encouraging the service user to do as much as they can independently.

We offer a range of dementia care services, which include:

• Assistance in/out of bed
• Washing, bathing, showering
• Medication prompting/administering at strictly punctual times as prescribed
• Preparing nutritious, regular meals
• Cleaning
• Shopping
• Laundry
